Skills that open pathways
Skills development is central to Basecamp Foundation Kenya’s work with young people. Through education, mentorship and practical learning opportunities, young people are supported to strengthen their confidence, pursue livelihoods and contribute positively to their communities.
World Youth Skills Day is also a reminder that access to relevant learning must extend beyond the classroom. Community partnerships, supportive mentors and opportunities to practise new skills all help young people turn knowledge into meaningful action.
