Connected Solutions for Stronger Communities
Basecamp Foundation Kenya works with communities in the Maasai Mara to expand access to education, strengthen the agency of girls and women, improve livelihoods, and support the sustainable management of water and the environment.
Our programmes respond to challenges that are closely connected. A child’s ability to learn can be affected by household income and access to water. A woman’s economic participation can influence the wellbeing and educational opportunities of an entire family. Environmental pressures can shape both livelihoods and community resilience.
We therefore combine focused programme expertise with an integrated view of community development. Across all areas, we prioritise participation, local leadership, practical learning and partnerships that help communities sustain progress over time.
