Savings Group (CMSG)

Community Managed Savings Groups (CMSGs) is a unique community driven self-help approach, aimed at improving rural financial literacy. This program empowers members, particularly women, to make informed decisions about their savings and spending habits.
By providing a structured platform for saving, investing and accessing small loans, CMSGs enable its members to start and grow micro, and small businesses earning them livelihoods. Ultimately, this initiative fosters economic independenc, strenghtens household financial resilience and promotes sustainable livelihoods within the community.

Social Franchising Project

The Social franchising project is a methodology within the community managed savings groups (CMSG) that specifically acts as a business model to sell different solar products to the community through the village agents. The project aims at distribution of renewable and efficient energy solutions comprising of efficient cooking stoves, solar energy units and water filters.
